The Mines at Litlabø
The sulphur mine at Litlabø was in production from 1865 to 1968, and had up to 400 employees. Venelaget for Gruo, a voluntary organization, started in 1993 to restore and take care of objects from the mining period.
Every Thursday from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m., you can meet people from the organization, make an appointment to go on a mine safari or take a trip with the small charming mining train.
